History of Ekyon
When Ekyon first came to existence, the only beings that lived on its surface were Hylunes. There was one Nature, two Waters, and one Stone. Nature took on the responsibility of creating the forests and plains. One Water created a clean ocean, ponds, and lakes while the other Water took care of the rivers and streams. Stone created a mountain range, as well as softening up the ground in one area to turn it into a desert. They were proud of what they had done, and lived in peace in their new creation.
As centuries passed they had begun to feel lonely, all meeting up to try to discuss one something they might be able to do. By themselves, they weren't able to create their own living being, but together they had the power to create life. With this realization, they fused their power together and created a Snow Hylune. They all got a long fine, Snow even contributing to their world and covering the mountains in soft snow as well as giving them a white wonderland whenever it got cold enough.
The Hylunes were so proud of what they had done and wanted to share it with someone, so again they came together and created more life. This was when the first Inka came to be, a Doka in fact. They lived with their new friend happily, but as time went by they realized that unlike them their Doka wouldn't last forever. With this realization, they came together and created several more beings to live in their land and populate it.
At first they spent lots of time with their Dokas, but as time went by and they began to populate they let them be and returned to their original creations within the land. Nature was lucky though, the Dokas having had mostly living within her plains and forests. She was never lonely, always happy to be with her friends.
The other Hylunes had begun to grow jealous that Nature had so many friends while they didn't, and came together without her knowing. From this secret meeting, Seas, Creptus, and Fairies were created. The Hylunes were overjoyed with these creations, taking them back to their land and letting them populate. The Waters took the Seas, Stone took the Creptus, and Snow took the Fairies. It made them so happy that they now had people to enjoy what they had made, no longer feeling jealous and lonely.
Soon Nature had found out that the other Hylunes had made more creations without telling her. They had always done things together when deciding on what to make, so this hurt her horribly. When night had fallen one day, she came to where Snow and Stone had resided and stole some of their Fairies and Creptus, as well as stealing some of the Seas. She brought them back to her forest, letting them know they would be a lot safer with her.
Upon waking and realizing that some of their friends were gone, the other Hylunes were furious. They came together once again, coming up with a plan to get back at Nature. They all soon agreed on letting the Waters work together to flood the forest, so when night came they did. The forest was flooded for years, causing several of the Doka to die off. The Seas flourished however, mating with a few of the remaining Doka to create Noondas. Fairies and Creptus were able to survive as well, staying in the treetops. Several of them mated as well, creating Pintus.
Nature was devastated that she lost so many of her Doka, despite the new species that were created. On the third year of the flood, she apologized to the Hylunes for stealing their people, giving them some of the new species that were created as an apology. Soon after, she begged them to help her create more friends, almost all of the Dokas wiped out. The other Hyulunes soon forgave her, agreeing to help her create more Dokas for her. The Waters removed the flood, then all five Hylunes met in their usual meeting spot and created more Dokas.
Many decades had passed, and Ekyon was once again flourishing with life. Though, once again the Hylunes felt like something was missing, wishing there were more creatures in the skies besides Pintus and Fairies. They then created Sokras, sharing this species and letting them chose where they wanted to live.
With all their species, they felt like it was time to take a rest and let the people of Ekyon do their bidding.
After a century had passed, the Hylunes began to notice that Ekyon was starting to become a little too over populated and needed something to help balance the ratio of people to land. However, they couldn't bring themselves to destroy their people so they made new ones instead, these being the Demons. They made them with twisted, blood thirsty minds, letting them roam Ekyon and helping control the population. They felt bad for what they had just created, but knew it had to be done.
However, they had noticed that as time went by the Demons seemed to be taking over, this not being what they had planned. They quickly came together, agreeing that they had to do something to save their people before it was too late. With this, Dragons and Boes were created. Dragons were thier a good force of violence in the world, fighting off Demons whenever they attacked. With Boes, they gave them each a tiny bit of power to help use their surroundings to fight off the Demons. This started the first ever war in Ekyon, dubbed as the Demon War.
After many years of bloodshed, the Demons were finally defeated. There weren't many of them alive anymore, and the good people of Ekyon took a hold of their world once again. However, there were some affairs between Boes and Demons during the time of the war, this resulting in the production of Grashes. The Hylunes were rather worried at first, and Stone took it upon themselves to toss them into the desert where no one would find them.
The Hylunes had soon come to an agreement that they would make no more Ekyonians, the world seeming populated enough. So, they merely stood back and let the people of Ekyon take over. Many villages popped up, as well as three new species, the Scruffs, which were the results of Dragons and Dokas mating, and Human and Elves, which were a mutation of the Doka and Fairy species. Soon the Ekyonians began to work together and created a large temple in honor of the Hylunes, and it stood tall for centuries. But alas as time went by the temple began to become unused, and Hylunes were nothing more than a bedtime story for children.
In this point of time, a large city was built, covering up the place the Hylunes had originally met to discuss the creation of their world. This ignorance and forgetfulness of them saddened the Hylunes. They were so lonely and heartbroken that they were no longer remembered and no longer had their original friends. Without them knowing it, this sadness and regret morphed together to create a new species.
These were what came to be known as Cringers, the most horrific species on Ekyon. The Hylunes were panicked as these creatures began to destroy their world and people within it, afraid another war would take place. Instead of leaving it up to the people, they took the responsibility on themselves and wiped out the majority of the Cringers, shoving the remainders off to where they could hurt no one.
At this point, Nature began to feel stressed from taking care of all the people in the forest and the plains and fell rather ill, this causing her land to begin to wither away. The Hylunes were panicked, not wanting all their hard work to be ruined. Without much thought they created another Nature, allowing them to take care of the plains. The original Nature became better soon after, thanking the Hylunes for giving her the help she needed before returning to her forest.
The time on Ekyon is now present day. The Demons have started to cause a ruckus once again, but the rest of the Ekyonains are now able to fight for themselves and fight them off. Though, with the beginning of this new Demon rise, the Cringers are beginning to show up once more. Only two have been spotted, but the Hylunes as well as the Ekyonians are fearful there are many more.
A Cringer who was tossed into the mountains was able to get their hands on Snow, causing half of the mountain side to always be covered in ice and snow and blizzards while the other is dry. The Hylunes immediately tried to get their friend back, but the Cringer threatened to kill Snow if they did anything. With their friend held prisoner, the Hylunes had begun to panic, causing more storms to occur in Ekyon. Once the Hylunes had realized this, they did their best to calm down. They knew it would take time to save their friend, and couldn't let themselves be stressed. They are currently focused on helping the people within their areas, and been doing so for many decades.
Recently, they thought of an idea of creating a more friendly type of Trudger for Ekyon, hoping they would set a good example for how the other Trudgers should act. However, upon the creation of this species, being the Rackna, their plan backfired. The Rackna were nice and had no intentions on harming others, but the public were still frightening by them due to their appearances and steered clear of them. The Hylunes wished there was a way they could tell the public that they're safe, but seeing as how hardly anyone believes in them anymore there was nothing they could do.
They are still trying to think of a plan that will work, allowing them to get their friend back. They know they haven't gotten much time though, because even though Ekyon was at peace at the moment they could feel a conflict coming on if nothing was done to help Snow.
